The studio specializes in remodels, new builds, full-service design and project management. Our main goal is to foster a low-stress experience from concept through completion through clear communication and highly organized processes that allow you to enjoy the process of creating your dream home.

Hi! I’m Kristina, the founder of Cove Home Designs. I started Cove after realizing how often homes and renovations didn’t fully reflect the clients they were created for. My job is to remove the guesswork and guide you through the process as we make your own personal retreat come to life.
My professional journey has been rooted in both mindful design and construction. I earned my degree from the College of Design, Construction and Planning at the University of Florida and spent the early part of my career as a sustainability consultant for an MEP engineering design firm in New York City. While the complex projects and innovative collaboration of large design and construction teams excited me, there was a large part of me that felt unfulfilled turning over a completed project to a group of stakeholders rather than a person or a family. At that point, I decided to make a change and transition into project management for a high-end custom residential construction company where I’ve gained a ton of hands-on experience coordinating details and finally finding the fulfillment in helping clients move into their custom dream homes.
My design philosophy is grounded in intention, function, wellness and craftsmanship, and perhaps more importantly, I have extensive experience in home remodeling projects so I can demystify the process. Having a well rounded background has provided me with the experience to help clients create the very best home. My background in sustainability has made me very mindful of the materials that I specify to be installed within homes from a sustainable and wellness point of view, while my project management experience has provided me with the knowledge of building science and all of the details required to build a home from the ground up. Clients often tell me they value my attention to detail and clear communication.
